Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today’s video is all about one of my favorite beauty products – lipstick! Specifically, I’ll be showing you how to refill your lippy using a technique that I’ve been using for years. So if you’re ready, let’s jump right into it!

First things first, you’ll need a few key items before we get started. You’ll need your almost-empty lipstick tube, a clean lipstick container or a small jar, a butter knife or makeup spatula, a hair dryer, and your favorite lipstick shades. Once you have all of these items ready, we can begin the process of refilling your lipstick.

Step 1: Remove the Remaining Lipstick

The first step is to remove any remaining lipstick from your nearly empty tube. To do this, carefully twist up the lipstick until there is no more product left. You can also use a butter knife or spatula to scoop out any remaining product. Be sure to clean out the tube as best as you can to ensure a clean refill.

Step 2: Melt Your Lipstick

Next, you’ll want to melt your favorite lipstick shades. To do this, take a small amount of each lipstick shade and place it in your clean lipstick container or small jar. Then, using your hair dryer on a low heat setting, gently melt the lipstick until it becomes a liquid consistency. Be careful not to overheat the lipstick, as it can change the formula and color.

Step 3: Mix Your Lipstick Shades

Once your lipstick shades are melted, you can mix them together to create a custom color. This is one of my favorite parts of the process, as you can create a shade that is entirely unique to you. Mix the shades until you achieve your desired color, and be sure to test it on your hand or wrist to ensure you love the final result.

Step 4: Fill Your Empty Lipstick Tube

Now comes the fun part – filling your empty lipstick tube with your custom color! Using a clean spatula or butter knife, carefully pour the melted lipstick into the tube. Be sure to fill the tube up to the top, and smooth out the surface with the back of your spatula to create a clean finish.

Step 5: Let Your Lipstick Set

Once your lipstick tube is filled, it’s time to let your lipstick set. Place the tube in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour to allow the lipstick to solidify and set properly. Once it’s set, your new custom lipstick is ready to use!

And there you have it – a simple and cost-effective way to refill your favorite lipstick shades! I love how easy and fun this process is, and I hope you do too. If you decide to try this technique, be sure to tag me on social media so I can see your beautiful creations!
