As I walked through the crowded halls of IFA 2016, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement. After all, this was the place where I would get my hands on the latest fitness trackers from Fitbit – the Flex 2 and the Charge 2. Having been a long-time fan of the brand, I was eager to see what new features they had in store for us this year.

First up was the Fitbit Flex 2. As soon as I picked it up, I was struck by how sleek and lightweight it was. The design was minimalistic, featuring a small OLED display and a rubber band that wrapped comfortably around my wrist. The tracker itself was detachable, making it easy to switch out the bands for a different look.

One of the standout features of the Flex 2 was its swim-proof design. As someone who loves to hit the pool for a workout, I was thrilled to see that this tracker was waterproof up to 50 meters. This meant that I could track my laps and calories burned even while swimming. The Flex 2 also had automatic exercise recognition, detecting when I was running, biking, or using the elliptical without me having to manually input the activity.

Next, I got my hands on the Fitbit Charge 2. This tracker was more advanced than the Flex 2, featuring a larger display that showed more detailed information. The Charge 2 had PurePulse heart rate monitoring, giving me real-time updates on my heart rate and showing me which heart rate zone I was in during my workout.

One of the features that I was most excited about was the guided breathing sessions on the Charge 2. Stress is something that I struggle with, so the idea of being able to take a minute to focus on my breathing and relax was very appealing to me. The Charge 2 also had connected GPS, which meant that I could track my runs using my phone’s GPS without having to bring it along with me.

Both the Flex 2 and the Charge 2 featured SmartTrack technology, automatically recognizing when I was exercising and recording the activity in the Fitbit app. This made it easy for me to keep track of my workouts and see my progress over time. The trackers also had interchangeable bands, allowing me to switch up the look depending on my mood or outfit.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with both the Fitbit Flex 2 and the Charge 2. As someone who is passionate about fitness and health, these trackers provided me with the tools I needed to stay on top of my goals and push myself to new limits. Whether I was hitting the gym, going for a run, or swimming laps, I knew that my Fitbit was there to track my progress and keep me motivated.

As I left the Fitbit booth at IFA 2016, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on my own Flex 2 or Charge 2 and start incorporating them into my daily routine. With their advanced features, sleek designs, and user-friendly interfaces, these trackers were sure to be a game-changer in the world of fitness technology. Fitbit had once again proven why they were a leader in the industry, and I was proud to be a part of the Fitbit family.
