Now, don’t get me wrong, I love trying out new makeup products and experimenting with different brands, but this particular lipstick just didn’t live up to my expectations. So let’s dive into my review and find out why I regret purchasing this product.

First off, let’s talk about the packaging. The Colorbar Deep Matte Lipstick comes in a sleek black tube with a silver detailing that looks quite classy and elegant. However, the packaging feels a bit flimsy and cheap. I prefer my lipsticks to have a more solid and sturdy feel, so this was already a bit of a letdown for me.

When it comes to the actual lipstick formula, I have to say I was not impressed. The Colorbar Deep Matte Lipstick claims to be highly pigmented and long-lasting, but I found the color payoff to be quite sheer and patchy. I had to go over my lips multiple times to build up the color, and even then it didn’t look as opaque as I had hoped. The formula also felt quite drying on my lips, which was uncomfortable and unflattering.

Another issue I had with this lipstick is the wear time. Despite claiming to be long-lasting, I found that the Colorbar Deep Matte Lipstick faded quite quickly throughout the day. I had to reapply it multiple times, which was a hassle and not something I look for in a lipstick. I expect my lip color to stay put for at least a few hours, but this one just didn’t cut it.

Additionally, I was disappointed with the shade range of the Colorbar Deep Matte Lipstick. While the brand offers a decent selection of colors, I found that the shades I tried looked different on my lips than they did in the tube. The colors appeared more muted and dull once applied, which was quite disappointing. I prefer lipsticks that stay true to their color and look vibrant on the lips.

Overall, I have to say that the Colorbar Deep Matte Lipstick was a flop for me. From the lackluster formula to the poor wear time and inconsistent shades, this product just didn’t live up to my expectations. I regret purchasing it and would not recommend it to others looking for a high-quality matte lipstick.
