DIY: Review of a lace dress. Making red lace dress with yokes and flounce.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today, I am going to be sharing with you a DIY review of a lace dress that I recently made. This stunning red lace dress features yokes and a flounce that add a touch of feminine flair. I had so much fun creating this dress and I can’t wait to show you all the steps involved. So let’s get started!

First off, let me talk a little bit about the materials that I used for this project. I opted for a beautiful red lace fabric that has a delicate floral pattern. I also used a soft lining fabric to give the dress a bit of structure. To add some volume to the skirt, I used a lightweight tulle fabric. Lastly, I used a matching invisible zipper to finish off the dress.

Now, onto the construction of the dress. I started off by cutting out all the pattern pieces for the dress, including the bodice, yokes, sleeves, and skirt. I then sewed the yokes onto the front and back bodice pieces, creating a beautiful top section for the dress. Next, I attached the sleeves and then sewed up the side seams of the bodice.

For the skirt, I gathered the tulle fabric and attached it to the bottom of the bodice, creating a flounce effect. I then sewed up the back seam of the skirt, leaving room for the invisible zipper. Once the zipper was inserted, I finished off the dress by hemming the sleeves and skirt.

One of the things I love about this dress is the intricate lace detailing. The floral pattern of the lace adds a romantic touch to the dress, making it perfect for a special occasion. The yokes and flounce also give the dress a unique silhouette, adding a bit of drama to the overall look.

As for the fit of the dress, I am really happy with how it turned out. The bodice fits snugly around my bust and the skirt has just the right amount of fullness. The length of the dress hits me at mid-calf, which I think is perfect for a dress like this.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with how this DIY lace dress turned out. The combination of the red lace fabric, yokes, and flounce create a stunning and elegant dress that is perfect for any special occasion.
