Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today I am super excited to share with you a step by step tutorial on how I customized a pair of Air Force 1 sneakers using dyed rope lace to create this unique “Cheetos Crunchy” design. I am absolutely in love with how these turned out and I can’t wait to show you how I achieved this look.

First things first, let’s gather all of our materials. For this project, you will need a pair of white Air Force 1 sneakers, a pack of dyed rope lace in orange and yellow, a pair of scissors, some fabric glue, and a brush for applying the glue. You can find all of these materials at your local craft store or online.

Once you have all of your materials gathered, it’s time to start customizing your sneakers. The first step is to remove the original laces from the sneakers. Carefully unlace the sneakers and set the laces aside for later use or discard them if you prefer.

Next, take your dyed rope lace in orange and start lacing up the sneakers. I decided to lace the sneakers in a crisscross pattern to give them a unique look. Make sure to pull the lace tight as you lace them up to ensure a secure fit.

Once you have finished lacing up the sneakers with the orange dyed rope lace, trim the ends of the laces to your desired length. I opted to leave a little bit of extra length at the end for a more dramatic look, but you can trim them shorter if you prefer.

Now it’s time to add some extra flair to the sneakers. Using the yellow dyed rope lace, create a pattern on the sneakers that resembles the texture of Cheetos Crunchy snacks. I decided to go for a zigzag pattern across the front of the sneakers, but feel free to get creative and come up with your own design.

As you are creating the Cheetos Crunchy design with the yellow dyed rope lace, make sure to secure the lace in place with fabric glue. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the lace and press it onto the sneakers. Hold it in place for a few seconds to ensure it sticks properly.

Continue adding the yellow dyed rope lace to the sneakers until you are happy with the overall design. Feel free to experiment with different patterns and shapes to make the sneakers truly unique to your style.

Once you have finished adding the yellow dyed rope lace to the sneakers, let them dry for a few hours to allow the fabric glue to set properly. You can speed up the drying process by using a hairdryer on a low setting, but make sure not to overheat the sneakers as it may damage the fabric.

After the fabric glue has dried and the yellow dyed rope lace is securely in place, your custom “Cheetos Crunchy” Air Force 1 sneakers are ready to wear. I am absolutely obsessed with how these turned out and I can’t wait to show them off to all my friends.
