Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today I wanted to share with you the first 15 things I decluttered as a minimalist. Decluttering has been such a transformative journey for me, and I hope that by sharing my experience, I can inspire you to simplify your own life as well.

1. Clothes:

The first thing I decluttered as a minimalist was my wardrobe. I went through every item of clothing I owned and asked myself if it truly brought me joy. If the answer was no, it went into the donate pile. It was amazing to see how much lighter I felt after getting rid of clothes I never wore or didn’t love.

2. Shoes:

Next, I tackled my shoe collection. I had so many pairs that I never wore, so I kept only the essentials and donated the rest. It was liberating to free up all that space in my closet.

3. Books:

As an avid reader, I had accumulated quite a collection of books over the years. I went through each one and kept only the ones that held sentimental value or that I knew I would read again. The rest were donated to my local library.

4. Kitchen Gadgets:

I had so many kitchen gadgets that I never used. I decluttered my kitchen and only kept the essentials. It’s amazing how much easier it is to cook when you have a simplified and decluttered kitchen.

5. Sentimental Items:

It can be hard to let go of sentimental items, but I found that decluttering these items actually helped me appreciate them more. I kept only the most meaningful items and let go of the rest.

6. Beauty Products:

I had so many beauty products that I never used. I decluttered my collection and kept only the products that I truly loved and used regularly. It’s amazing how much simpler my skincare routine has become since decluttering.

7. Electronics:

I had accumulated so many electronic gadgets over the years that I never used. I decluttered my electronics collection and only kept the essentials. It’s amazing how much clearer my mind feels now that I’m not constantly surrounded by unused gadgets.

8. Paperwork:

I had so much paperwork piling up in my home office. I decluttered my paperwork and organized it into folders. It’s amazing how much easier it is to find important documents now that everything is organized.

9. Decorative Items:

I had so many decorative items in my home that were just collecting dust. I decluttered my home and kept only the items that truly brought me joy. It’s amazing how much lighter and more peaceful my home feels now that it’s not cluttered with unnecessary decorations.

10. Knick-Knacks:

I had so many knick-knacks that I had collected over the years. I decluttered my collection and kept only the items that truly meant something to me. It’s amazing how much more meaningful these items are now that they’re not lost in a sea of clutter.

11. Excess Furniture:

I had so much furniture in my home that I never used. I decluttered my home and only kept the furniture that was functional and necessary. It’s amazing how much more spacious and open my home feels now that it’s not cluttered with excess furniture.

12. Outdated Electronics:

I had so many outdated electronic gadgets that were just taking up space. I decluttered my collection and only kept the electronics that I actually use. It’s amazing how much clearer my mind feels now that I’m not surrounded by unnecessary gadgets.

13. Unused Kitchen Appliances:

I had so many kitchen appliances that I never used. I decluttered my kitchen and only kept the appliances that I use regularly. It’s amazing how much easier it is to cook now that my kitchen is not cluttered with unused appliances.

14. Old Magazines and Newspapers:

I had so many old magazines and newspapers piling up in my home. I decluttered my collection and recycled the papers that I no longer needed. It’s amazing how much more organized and clutter-free my home feels now.

15. Miscellaneous Items:

Lastly, I decluttered all of the miscellaneous items in my home that didn’t fit into any specific category. I went through each item and only kept the ones that truly brought me joy. It’s amazing how much lighter and more peaceful my home feels now that it’s not cluttered with unnecessary items.
