FABRIC SWATCH CLUB REVIEW | Mood Fabrics – January 2019

Hey everyone! Today I am excited to share with you my review of the Fabric Swatch Club from Mood Fabrics for the month of January 2019. As a lover of all things fabric and sewing, I have been a member of this club for quite some time now and I am always impressed with the quality and variety of fabrics that they send each month.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the Fabric Swatch Club, it is a monthly subscription service offered by Mood Fabrics where members receive a selection of fabric swatches in the mail each month. These swatches are hand-picked by the experts at Mood Fabrics and represent the latest trends and styles in the world of fashion and sewing.

Now, let’s dive into the January 2019 swatches that I received. As always, the packaging was impeccable and each swatch was neatly presented in a small envelope with a description of the fabric included. This month’s selection included a mix of fabrics ranging from cottons and silks to wool blends and stretch knits.

One of my favorite swatches from this month’s collection was a beautiful floral print cotton fabric. The colors were vibrant and the print was intricate and detailed. I could already picture a gorgeous summer dress or blouse made from this fabric. The quality of the cotton was top-notch and I could tell it would be a dream to sew with.

Another standout swatch was a luxurious silk charmeuse in a stunning deep emerald green. The sheen and drape of this fabric were absolutely divine and I could see it being used for a glamorous evening gown or a chic blouse. The color was perfect for the upcoming spring season and I knew it would be a versatile addition to my fabric stash.

One thing I love about the Fabric Swatch Club is the variety of fabrics that are included each month. It really allows me to try out new things and experiment with different textures and prints that I may not have otherwise considered. Being able to feel the fabrics in person and see how they look in natural light is invaluable when planning out my sewing projects.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the January 2019 swatches that I received from the Fabric Swatch Club at Mood Fabrics. The quality, variety, and presentation of the fabrics were all top-notch and I know that I will be using them in many future sewing projects.
