So I recently came across a video on YouTube titled “Trunk Club-Plus Size//Not sure What They Were Thinking With This Trunk??” and let me tell you, I was pretty intrigued by the title. As someone who is always on the lookout for new fashion trends and styles, I was curious to see what this trunk had to offer.

As soon as I clicked on the video, I was greeted with a girl opening up her trunk filled with plus size clothing items. Right off the bat, I could see that the selection was quite questionable. There were a few pieces that caught my eye, but for the most part, I was left scratching my head wondering what they were thinking with some of these choices.

One of the first items that the girl pulled out was a floral maxi dress. Now, maxi dresses can be a great option for plus size women, but this particular dress had a very unflattering fit and pattern. It was clear that this was not going to be a winning piece for her wardrobe.

Next up was a pair of high-waisted, wide-legged pants. While I can appreciate the effort to incorporate trendy styles into the trunk, these pants were a miss. The fit was all wrong, and the material was not very flattering on her body. It was obvious that these pants were not going to be a staple in her closet.

As the video continued, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed with the selections that were included in this trunk. It seemed like there was a lack of understanding of what plus size women actually want and need in their wardrobes. The pieces were either too basic or too out there, with very little middle ground.

One of the final items that the girl pulled out was a sequined top. While sequins can be a fun addition to any outfit, this top was just too flashy and over the top. It didn’t seem like a practical choice for everyday wear, and it definitely didn’t fit in with the rest of the items in the trunk.

Overall, I was left feeling underwhelmed by the selections in this trunk. It seemed like there was a disconnect between what the stylist thought would work for a plus size woman and what actually would work in reality. The lack of variety and understanding of different body types was disappointing to see.

While I appreciate the effort to cater to plus size women with this trunk, it’s clear that there is still a long way to go in terms of providing stylish and flattering options. Hopefully, in the future, companies like Trunk Club will take the feedback from videos like this one and make improvements to their selections for plus size customers.

Overall, “Trunk Club-Plus Size//Not sure What They Were Thinking With This Trunk??” was an eye-opening look at the struggles that plus size women face when trying to find stylish clothing options. It’s clear that there is a need for more inclusive and thoughtful selections in the fashion industry, and hopefully, companies will start to listen to the feedback from videos like this one.
