17KHey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today I am super excited to share with you all an affordable prom/formal dress haul and review. As a college student on a budget, I know how expensive formal events like prom can be, so I wanted to show you all that you can find beautiful dresses for under $50!
I recently did some online shopping and picked out a few dresses that caught my eye. I will be trying them on and giving you my honest opinions on the fit, quality, and overall look of each dress. Let’s get started!
Dress #1: Lace Bodycon Dress
The first dress I picked out is a stunning lace bodycon dress in a beautiful navy blue color. I love the intricate lace detailing on the top and the body-hugging silhouette of the dress. The material feels very comfortable and has some stretch to it, which is great for moving around and dancing at a formal event.
When I tried on the dress, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it fit me. The length was just right, hitting me a few inches above the knee. The dress hugged my curves in all the right places and made me feel confident and elegant. I can definitely see myself wearing this dress to a prom or formal event!
Dress #2: Off-Shoulder Maxi Dress
The next dress I picked out is a gorgeous off-shoulder maxi dress in a lovely blush pink color. I love the flowy skirt and the off-shoulder neckline, which adds a touch of romance to the dress. The material is lightweight and perfect for warmer weather.
When I tried on the dress, I was blown away by how beautiful it looked on me. The off-shoulder neckline accentuated my collarbones and the flowy skirt gave me a princess-like vibe. The length of the dress was perfect, hitting the floor just right. I can imagine wearing this dress to a formal event and feeling like a Greek goddess!
Dress #3: Sequin Mini Dress
The final dress I picked out is a sparkly sequin mini dress in a dazzling silver color. I love the sequin detailing all over the dress and the bodycon fit that hugs my curves. The material is a bit on the thicker side, making it perfect for cooler evenings.
When I tried on the dress, I couldn’t stop staring at myself in the mirror. The sequins shimmered and sparkled in the light, making me feel like a disco ball! The dress fit me like a glove, accentuating my figure and making me feel like a total glamour queen. I can definitely see myself wearing this dress to a prom or formal event and dancing the night away!
Overall, I am beyond impressed with the quality and affordability of these dresses. Each dress was under $50, but they look and feel like they could be much more expensive. I am excited to wear these dresses to future formal events and show off my bargain finds!
