Hey loves! Today I’m so excited to share with you all an Instagram inspired makeup tutorial. Instagram is one of my favorite platforms for finding beauty inspiration, and I can’t wait to recreate one of the trending makeup looks that I’ve been seeing all over my feed. So grab your makeup brushes and let’s get started!

First things first, I’m going to start off by prepping my skin. I like to begin by applying a moisturizer to ensure that my skin is hydrated and ready for makeup application. Next, I’m going to apply a primer to create a smooth base for my foundation. This step is crucial for achieving a flawless finish.

Now it’s time to move on to foundation. I’m going to use a medium coverage foundation and blend it out with a beauty blender for a seamless look. Make sure to blend down your neck to avoid any harsh lines.

Next, I’m going to move on to concealer. I like to apply a concealer that is a shade lighter than my foundation under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, and on any areas that need extra coverage. Blend it out with a beauty blender for a natural finish.

Now it’s time to set everything in place with a translucent powder. This will help to lock in your foundation and concealer so that it lasts all day. I like to press the powder into my skin with a damp beauty blender to avoid any cakiness.

For brows, I’m going to fill them in with a brow pencil to define and shape them. I like to fill in any sparse areas and brush the hairs up with a brow gel for a feathered look.

Now onto the eyes! The Instagram inspired makeup look that I’m recreating today features a bold winged liner and shimmer on the lids. I’m going to start by applying a neutral matte eyeshadow in the crease to act as a transition shade.

Next, I’m going to apply a shimmer eyeshadow all over the lids for a pop of sparkle. I like to use my finger to apply shimmer shadows as I find that it gives the best payoff.

Now it’s time for the star of the show – winged liner! I’m going to create a sharp wing using a felt-tip eyeliner pen. I like to start at the outer corner and flick the liner outwards for a dramatic winged effect.

To finish off the eyes, I’m going to apply a coat of mascara to my lashes. I like to wiggle the wand at the base of my lashes and then comb through to the tips for voluminous lashes.

Moving on to the face, I’m going to apply a bronzer to warm up my complexion. I like to apply bronzer to the hollows of my cheeks, temples, and jawline for a sun-kissed look.

Next, I’m going to apply a blush to the apples of my cheeks for a flush of color. I like to smile and apply the blush in a circular motion for a natural flush.

To finish off the face, I’m going to apply a highlighter to the high points of my face. I like to apply highlighter to my cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow for a radiant glow.

Finally, I’m going to apply a lip color to complete the look. The Instagram inspired makeup look that I’m recreating today features a nude lip, so I’m going to apply a nude lipstick and top it off with a gloss for a plump finish.
