Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today I am so excited to show you a fun and creative way to make slime using makeup – specifically, lipstick! I came up with this idea when I was organizing my makeup collection and stumbled upon some old lipsticks that I never use. I thought to myself, why not incorporate them into my slime-making process? And thus, the idea for Heart Makeup Slime was born!

For those of you who are new to my channel, slime has been a huge trend for the past few years. It’s a fun and squishy sensory play material that both kids and adults love to create and play with. There are so many different variations and add-ins that you can customize your slime with, and today we are going to be adding a colorful twist with lipstick!

First, let’s gather our supplies. You will need some clear slime base, some lipstick in various colors, a mixing bowl, a mixing spatula, and some heart-shaped molds. I like to use clear slime base for this project because it allows the colors of the lipstick to really stand out and create a vibrant effect.

Let’s start by preparing our clear slime base. You can either make your own clear slime from scratch using glue and borax, or you can purchase pre-made clear slime from a store. I personally prefer to make my own slime as I can control the consistency and texture, but feel free to use store-bought slime if that’s more convenient for you.

Once you have your clear slime base ready, it’s time to add the lipstick! Take your lipsticks and remove them from their tubes. You can either chop them up into small pieces or scrape off some of the color using a spatula – whichever method you prefer. I like to mix and match different shades to create a multi-colored effect.

Now, add the lipstick pieces to your clear slime base and mix everything together thoroughly. You will start to see the colors blend together and create a marbled effect within the slime. Keep mixing until the lipstick is evenly distributed throughout the slime.

Once your slime is fully mixed, it’s time to pour it into the heart-shaped molds. I like to use silicone molds for this project as they are flexible and easy to work with. Gently press the slime into the molds and smooth out the surface with your spatula.

Now, it’s time to let the slime set and firm up. Depending on the type of slime base you used, this can take anywhere from a few hours to overnight. I like to leave mine overnight to ensure that it has fully set and the colors have had time to blend together.

After your slime has set, carefully remove the heart-shaped slimes from the molds. You may need to gently push on the back of the mold to release the slime. Don’t worry if the edges are a bit rough – you can always smooth them out with your fingers or a spatula.

Now comes the fun part – playing with your Heart Makeup Slime! Squish it, stretch it, and watch as the colors blend and swirl together. You can even mix and match different heart shapes to create new color combinations. The possibilities are endless!

I hope you enjoyed this fun and creative way to make slime using lipstick. It’s a great way to repurpose old makeup and create a colorful and unique sensory play material. If you decide to make your own Heart Makeup Slime, be sure to tag me on social media so I can see your creations!
