Makeup I Brought Travelling Versus What I Actually Used!
117KHey guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I want to share with you all a video that I’m really excited about. It’s called “Makeup I Brought Travelling Versus What I Actually Used!”
As someone who loves makeup and loves to travel, I always find myself packing way more makeup than I actually need. I always tell myself that I’m going to do all these different looks while I’m away, but the reality is that I usually end up sticking to my go-to looks. So, for my most recent trip, I decided to challenge myself to only pack the makeup essentials and see what I actually ended up using.
When I was packing for my trip, I knew I had to be strategic with my makeup choices. I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed to create a few different looks, but I also didn’t want to be weighed down by a ton of products. So, I carefully selected a few key items that I knew I couldn’t live without.
First up, I packed my trusty foundation. I always like to have a good base to start with, so I brought along my favorite foundation that I know works well with my skin. I also made sure to pack a concealer to help cover up any blemishes or dark circles. And of course, I couldn’t forget to bring a setting powder to lock everything in place.
For my eyes, I kept it simple and just packed a neutral eyeshadow palette with a few different shades. I also brought along a black eyeliner and a mascara to help define my eyes. And of course, I couldn’t forget my trusty eyebrow pencil to keep my brows on point.
When it came to my cheeks, I opted for a versatile blush and bronzer duo that I could use to add some color and dimension to my face. I also threw in a highlighter for that extra glow.
For my lips, I decided to keep things minimal and just packed a nude lipstick and a lip balm. I figured that these two items would be enough to switch up my lip look depending on my mood.
Now that I had all my essentials packed, it was time to put them to the test. Throughout my trip, I found myself reaching for the same products over and over again. I stuck to my usual routine of applying foundation, concealer, setting powder, and then moving on to my eyes.
I found that the neutral eyeshadow palette was perfect for creating both daytime and nighttime looks. I could easily switch up my eyeshadow by using different shades and intensifying the look with the black eyeliner and mascara.
For my cheeks, I loved using the blush and bronzer duo to add some color and warmth to my face. The highlighter also came in handy for giving my skin a beautiful glow.
And when it came to my lips, I found myself reaching for the nude lipstick almost every day. It was the perfect shade that went with any outfit, and I loved how it looked on my lips.
Overall, I was so happy with my makeup choices for this trip. By only packing the essentials, I was able to streamline my routine and focus on enjoying my vacation without being weighed down by a ton of products. It was a great reminder that sometimes less is more when it comes to makeup.
So, if you’re someone who tends to overpack when it comes to makeup, I highly recommend trying this challenge for your next trip. You might be surprised at how little you actually need to create beautiful looks. Plus, it’s a great way to declutter your makeup collection and focus on using the products that you truly love.
