171KToday, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Breastfeeding Master Class with a Lactation Consultant from UNICEF. As a passionate advocate for breastfeeding and maternal health, I was thrilled to learn from one of the experts in the field.
From the moment I walked into the room, I could feel the energy and excitement of all the soon-to-be moms and new moms who were eager to learn and improve their breastfeeding skills. The Lactation Consultant greeted us with a warm smile and an enthusiastic introduction. She wasted no time in diving into the importance of breastfeeding and the benefits it provides for both mother and baby.
One of the key takeaways from the master class was the importance of early initiation of breastfeeding. The Lactation Consultant emphasized that the first hour after birth is crucial for establishing a strong breastfeeding relationship.
