HOW MUCH I SPENT ON MY WEDDING OUTFITS🤑💰 #shorts #wedding
88KHey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today’s video is going to be a little different than my usual content. I recently got married and I thought it would be interesting to share with you all how much I spent on my wedding outfits. I know weddings can be expensive, so I wanted to give you a breakdown of the costs and share my thoughts on whether or not it was worth it.
Let’s start with the bridal gown. I went to several bridal boutiques and tried on so many dresses before I found the perfect one. The dress I ended up choosing was absolutely stunning, but it came with a hefty price tag. The gown cost me $3000, which was definitely more than I had originally budgeted for. However, I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on and I knew I had to have it for my special day.
Next up was the groom’s tuxedo. My husband wanted a custom-made tuxedo that he could keep and wear for other formal events in the future. The tuxedo cost us $1500, but my husband was so happy with it that he said it was worth every penny. He looked so handsome on our wedding day and I have to agree that it was money well spent.
Now let’s talk about the bridesmaid and groomsmen outfits. I wanted my bridal party to look cohesive and elegant, so I decided to cover the cost of their attire. The bridesmaid dresses cost $200 each, while the groomsmen’s suits cost $300 each. In total, we spent $2400 on outfits for the bridal party. It was definitely a splurge, but seeing how amazing everyone looked on the day of the wedding made it all worth it.
Of course, no wedding outfit is complete without accessories. I spent $500 on shoes, jewelry, and a veil to complete my bridal look. My husband also splurged on a designer watch and cufflinks to complete his ensemble. In total, we spent $1000 on accessories for our outfits.
When it came to hair and makeup, I wanted to look and feel my best on my wedding day. I hired a professional hair and makeup artist to come to the venue and get me ready. The cost of hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom came to $800. It was definitely a bit pricey, but the convenience of having someone come to us and the peace of mind knowing that we would look flawless in all the photos made it worth it.
Finally, let’s talk about the cost of alterations. I needed to have some adjustments made to my wedding gown to ensure that it fit perfectly. The cost of alterations came to $300, which was a bit more than I had anticipated. However, having a dress that fit like a glove and made me feel like a princess on my wedding day was priceless.
So, in total, we spent $9000 on our wedding outfits. It was definitely a significant investment, but looking back on our wedding day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Our outfits were absolutely stunning and made us feel confident and beautiful on the most important day of our lives. While it was a lot of money to spend, I believe that it was worth every penny for the memories and photos that we will cherish for a lifetime.
